    health_11778cInfluenza is a highly contagious respiratory infection that can cause severe illness and can be potentially fatal! Getting an annual flu vaccine is recommended for everyone age 6 months and older. This year, the Allegheny County Health Department is offering a high-dose flu vaccine that is four times more concentrated than the regular flu shot, and is available only for seniors 65 years of age and older.
