Stained Glass Tour

Join tour guide Steve Evrard following Sanctuary worship for an in-depth tour of the stained glass in our Sanctuary and Chapel. Designed and created by eight Pittsburgh stained glass shops during the 1930s, the windows tell the history of Presbyterianism and our faith, as well as many Biblical stories, including the amazing depiction of Revelations in the balcony. Please gather at the front of the Sanctuary following worship.

Hope Academy’s Un-Halloween Party

NO tricks and NO treats,  but lots of fun dressing up for classes and private lessons on Halloween. This is a dress-up day so use your imagination and come in your favorite costume. Keep it G-rated for all of the little ones (nothing scary, bloody, violent, suggestive or adult-themed); and make sure you can move easily and safely (no boots, flip flops, bare feet, or masks that obstruct vision). Confirmation Class Overnight Retreat

We will begin Confirmation Class with an overnight retreat at ELPC from Saturday, 3 pm, until after Journey worship on Sunday. During our time together, we will ask the question “Who Is God?” and discuss the three persons of the Trinity and our ability to relate to God as Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer.

Join our tour guide following Sanctuary worship for a closer look at the history, Gothic architecture, stained glass, and symbolism of our church’s majestic Sanctuary and intimate Chapel.
