- Parenting Circle: Eat, Pray, Love; “Pray” sections 62-68 (pages 189-203), facilitated by Frances Irvin.
- Seekers: “A God who Calls: An Introduction to Process Theology,” led by the Rev. Schoenewolf. We profess our belief in a Triune God who creates, redeems and sustains. Process Theology gives a voice to the radical creativity, the implicit relationality, and the persistent initiative of God. Join Rev. Schoenewolf as we learn how the ideas of Process Theology help us think about the core beliefs of our faith.
Additional worship, classes, and prayer opportunities during the week
- Taizé prayer service: Every Wednesday, 7:00 pm in the Chapel. Childcare available from 6:45 pm to 8:15 pm. November 18 service followed by music on the labyrinth, led by Charles Anderson.
- Labyrinth Prayer Walk: Mondays, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, and Wednesdays, 10:00 am - 9:00 pm.
- Centering Prayer: Tuesdays, 7:00 pm, room 250.
- Wednesday Connections for Adults: Join us Wednesdays from 5:00 - 5:45 for Bible study with the Revs. Bush and Schoenewolf.
- Spirituality 101: Two sessions are available for this six week class: Monday afternoons at 1:30 and Monday evenings at 7:00. With Dr. Lois Lang. See more information below.

Thank Offering, November 22
For more than 120 years, the Thank Offering of Presbyterian Women has lifted up the lives of women and children throughout the world with projects that address health care, homelessness, education, injustice and similar issues. You are invited to participate in the Thank Offering during worship
on Sunday, Nov 22.
Spirituality 101: Growing Closer to God (6-week class)
Would you like to feel closer to God and more aware of God’s presence in your life? Often different ways of praying can help us to accomplish this. This class will focus on various forms of prayer, choosing different prayer forms each week. Join us on Monday afternoons, 1:30 - 3:00 or Monday evenings, 7:00 - 8:30. Annual Thanksgiving Dinner, Sunday November 22
Join us and enjoy a turkey dinner with all the trimmings! ELPC will provide turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy. Congregation members are asked to bring side dishes, salads and desserts to share. Volunteers are needed to help set up on Sat., Nov. 21, at 10 am; to help serve immediately after 11 am Worship; and to help clean up. A $5 free-will offering, to help defray expenses, is appreciated. Knitting group, Thursday November 19
Join us every third Thursday of the month (this month, November 19) from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. We share help, projects, and fellowship. We are also exploring an evening meeting time for those unable to come during the day. If you're interested, please contact Diane Jackson, (412) 441-6021.
ELPC ministry volunteers needed
Are you interested in becoming involved with the ministry of ELPC? We need some extra hands to help in these areas. Please call Amanda Nolan, (412) 441-3800 x34.
- Sunday office worker, from 9:00 - 10:55 and from 12:15 - 12:30 pm, once every four weeks. Greet members and visitors in the front office, make copies, assist with attendance and offering records, and distribute mail.
- Noontime weekday hospitality worker, from 12:30 - 2:00 pm, once every 1 - 2 weeks. Greet visitors and members at the front desk, supervises sign-in, answer and forward telephone calls, administer key log.
- Landscape team member. Assist with planting and cleaning of plant beds, mow lawns, trim shrubs, rake leaves, pick up litter, etc.

Pittsburgh Gospel Choir Concert
Come hear the Pittsburgh Gospel Choir perform in our beautiful sanctuary! Under the leadership of artistic director, Dr. Herbert Jones, this ELPC resident choir offers inspirational music and stirring vocal selections. Tickets are available at the door.
East End Cooperative Ministries Men’s Shelter
The Deacons are collecting socks, gloves, and hats for EECM’s Men's Shelter. Donations may be left in the hallway baskets. Thank you for your support!
