Rally Day, September 12, 2010
Please join us to celebrate the return of Church School classes and our regular Sunday worship schedule. ELPC’s Christian Education classes resume on September 12, as do our regular worship services. Join us in the Second Floor hallway at 9:30 am, for a light, continental breakfast sponsored by the Christian Education Ministry Team, before classes begin at 9:45.
- Contemporaries: “Self-Control is Really God-Control.” Second floor parlor.
- Journey with Scripture: Jer. 4:11–12, 22–28; Ps. 14; I Tim. 1:12–17; Luke 15:1–10. Second floor library.
- Parenting Circle: We’ll share our summer joys and concerns. First floor, Harambe room.
- Seekers: “The Beginning of a New Seekers Year.” Second floor, room 234.
- Soul Food: We continue our study of Joyce Rupp’s book Fresh Bread. Second floor, Pastor’s conference room.

- Taizé prayer service: Every Wednesday, 7:00 pm in the Chapel.
September 8 service followed at 8:15 with “Music on the Labyrinth,” led by Charles Anderson.
- Labyrinth prayer walk: Wednesday, September 8, 9:00 am - 9:00 pm; Monday, September 13, 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. In the Social Hall.
- Centering prayer: Tuesday, September 14, 7:00 pm. Room 250.

East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) Food Pantry
The EECM Food Pantry provides food for individuals and families facing hunger in Pittsburgh. September’s “Food of the Month” is jelly / jam.
East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) Men’s Shelter
During the month of September, the Deacons are collecting XL men’s underwear, tee-shirts, and deodorant for EECM’s Men’s Shelter. Donations may be left in the hallway baskets. Thank you for your support!
