ELPC presents its fifth annual performance of “Love and All That Jazz,” on Saturday,February 12 at 7 p.m.Full of fabulous love songs and poetry, in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, this family-friendly event features a talented group of artists who will dazzle with an eclectic mix of poetry and song from Classical and Jazz to Broadway, Pop and Rock. Welcome Dr. Audrey Thompson, Feb 13
We look forward to welcoming Dr. Audrey Thompson as a guest preacher for the 11 am service. Dr. Thompson is the new Assistant Professor of Homiletics at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (PTS).She comes to PTS from prior study and teaching at Candler School of Theology, Emory University, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Virginia Union University. Ordained by the Progressive Baptist denomination, Dr. Thompson is a fresh voice in the African-American preaching tradition and a welcome addition to PTS. View Dr. Thompson's webpage

Community NewsNew! EECM Community Stress Center at ELPC
The EECM Community Stress Center was created to improve the well-being of people who live in and around the East End by offering services to reduce stress and maintain physical and mental health. The Community Stress Center is now open every Tuesday and Thursday from 12-4 p.m. at ELPC. Health and wellness screenings will be offered whenever the Center is open. East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) Food Pantry
The EECM Food Pantry provides food for individuals and families facing hunger in Pittsburgh. February’s “Food of the Month” is macaroni and cheese.
