Join us at 8:15 tonight (3/2) for time of hospitality followed by “Music on the Labyrinth,” with Charles Anderson on flute. All are welcome. Childcare available from 6:45 to 8:15 in the Nursery. Note that this will be the last Taizé event until after Easter; no classes during Lent.

Community Mission Opportunity, Saturday, March 5
Join us as a work day volunteer with Open Hand Ministries and Garfield Community Farm, anytime from 8:30 to 3:30. Projects include working on renovating houses, preparing and harvesting plant beds at the community garden, and other projects. No special skills needed, and all ages welcome. Read more

First SundaysMarch “First Sunday” events, begins March 6
The March event will run for three Sundays (March 6, 13 and 20). Suzanne Bailey will present The Divine Dance: Exploring the Mystery of the Trinity by Father Richard Rohr. His material opens up the central yet hidden mystery of the Trinity to show its practical and pastoral implications for community, family, politics, sexuality, and spirituality. Join us each week in Room 234 from 12:30 to 2 pm. Child care and light refreshments will be provided.

Ash Wednesday service: March 9, 12:15 pm
Rev. Doug Baker, PC(USA) Regional Liaison for Ireland and the United KingdomJoin us for a special Ash Wednesday service, a reflective service, including prayer, music, scripture, and the imposition of ashes, March 9 at 12:15. Our guest speaker will be Rev. Doug Baker, PC(USA) Regional Liaison for Ireland and the United Kingdom. In the Chapel. After the service, Rev. Baker will share about his work, including Presbyterianism in Northern Ireland and ways for the local church to remain connected with mission workers and congregations overseas. A simple lunch will be served.

The EECM Food Pantry provides food for individuals and families facing hunger in Pittsburgh. March’s “Food of the Month” is instant mashed potatoes.
