Ash Wednesday serviceAsh Wednesday service, Today, 12:15 pm
The season of Lent begins today, Ash Wednesday. Lenten booklets are available in the second floor hallway. The liturgical color shifts from green to purple, reminding us to be penitent and prayerful over the coming weeks as we prepare to recall the atoning death of Jesus for all humankind. Join us for a special Ash Wednesday service, including the imposition of ashes, today at 12:15, in the Chapel, with guest speaker Rev. Doug Baker. After the service, a simple lunch will be served. Support the youth in their annual 30-hour famine
Youth will be fundraising on Sunday, March 13 and participating in their annual 30-hour famine March 19 to March 20. All money raised will offer hunger-relief for our brothers and sisters in New Orleans who are struggling to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Read more
