Summer worship and pulpit exchanges
Experience Sunday worship in a fresh way! On Sunday, Rev. David Thornton of Grace Memorial Presbyterian Church will preach during our 10 am worship service. After, he and Rev. Bush will head to Grace Memorial for their 11 am service, where Rev. Bush will preach for their congregation. Attend one or both of these services as part of a new Pulpit Exchange with our Presbytery colleagues in ministry.
Hope Academy 2011-2012

- Christian Education classes are on vacation for the remainder of the summer. Please join us at 9:30 on September 11 for Rally Day and the beginning of the new church classes term.

Dr. Ed Moore performing in NYC on August 2
Some of our members travel in the summer--will you be in New York? Dr. Edward Moore, our Music Director and Organist, will perform an organ recital at The Riverside Church in New York City on Tuesday, August 2, 7:00 pm. This will be the concluding recital of their annual summer recital series.

East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) Food Pantry
The EECM Food Pantry provides food for individuals and families facing hunger in Pittsburgh. July’s “Food of the Month” is macaroni and cheese.
East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) Men’s Shelter
During the month of July, the Deacons are collecting deodorant, shampoo, men’s socks for EECM’s Men’s Shelter. Donations may be left in the hallway baskets. Thank you for your support! |
