Summer worship at East Liberty Presbyterian ChurchLast courtyard worship for the season
It’s been a glorious summer of worship in our courtyard! As the summer is drawing to a close, we will soon be transitioning our regular Sunday worship schedule:

  • August 28, 10:00: Last courtyard summer service.
  • September 4, 10:00: Last 10:00 service. In the Sanctuary.
  • September 11: Rally Day! Journey worship at 8:45; Sanctuary worship at 11:00.

This will be the last summer worship in the courtyard.

  • Worship at ELPC8:00 am: Good Samaritan Worship; Rev. Saleem Ghubril preaching, Presbyterian minister and Executive Director of Pittsburgh Promise.
  • 10:00 am: Summer Worship; Rev. Dr. Randall K. Bush preaching: “Taking the First Step of Faith,”Exodus 3:1-15.

Taizé chapel and cross
  • Taizé prayer service: Every Wednesday, 7:00 pm in the Chapel. After-Taizé classes resume in September. Join us at 8:15, after the Taizé service, for a Tower Sing! Wear closed-toed shoes as we will climb the bell tower and sing out over the Pittsburgh skyline.
  • Labyrinth prayer walk

Young Adults September programming
TRAIL, Three Rivers Adult Interdenominational LinksCheck our our September events! We welcome ALL adults in their 20s and 30s–married, single, partnered, with or without children–to take part in our Young Adult Ministries and our interdenominational program, TRAIL. Throughout the year, we offer a range of opportunities to come together, share, learn and grow as Christians. For questions on any of the Young Adults programs, , our Young Adults Ministry Coordinator. We invite you to join our warm and dynamic group for faith and fellowship!

East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) Food Pantry
The EECM Food Pantry provides food for individuals and families facing hunger in Pittsburgh. August’s “Food of the Month” is canned tuna.

East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) Men’s Shelter
During the month of August, the Deacons are continuing to collect deodorant, shampoo, and men’s socks for EECM’s Men’s Shelter. Donations may be left in the hallway baskets. Thank you for your support!
