On this day, we mark the 10th anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center with an afternoon peace service: Read more. A 5pm interfaith service will also be held at the Rodef Shalom temple, where Rev. Bush will be preaching the sermon, “Prisoners of Hope.”

  • Worship at ELPC8:00 am: Good Samaritan Worship; Rev. Saleem Ghubril preaching, Presbyterian minister and Executive Director of Pittsburgh Promise.
  • 10:00 am: Sanctuary Worship; Rev. Dr. Randall K. Bush preaching: “Radical Hospitality: Welcoming Words,”Matthew 9:1-8.
  • For the month of September, Rev. Bush will be preaching sermons related to the theme “Radical Hospitality,” with scripture from the book of Matthew, chapter 9.

East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) Food Pantry
The EECM Food Pantry provides food for individuals and families facing hunger in Pittsburgh. September’s “Food of the Month” is macaroni and cheese.

East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) Men’s Shelter
During the month of September, the Deacons are continuing to collect deodorant, shampoo, and men’s socks for EECM’s Men’s Shelter. Donations may be left in the hallway baskets. Thank you for your support!
