The EECM Food Pantry Needs Our Help!

East End Cooperative Ministries reaches out to all those who are experiencing the pain and the desperation of hungerHundreds of people living in Pittsburgh’s East End communities don’t know where their next meal is coming from. East End Cooperative Ministries reaches out to all those who are experiencing the pain and the desperation of hunger — from infants and children to a growing number of seniors.

The East End Cooperative Ministry Food Pantry provides food for many people facing hunger in Pittsburgh. Our congregation continues to answer the call in the struggle against hunger, but we need your continued support. Donations may be left in the baskets located throughout the church’s hallways. September's “Food for the Month” is jelly or jam.

Food Pantry Services

The Food Pantry is housed at East Liberty Presbyterian Church and is open from 1 to 3 pm, Monday through Friday. In addition to providing emergency groceries and supplies, volunteers provide help with budgeting, information on assistance programs, and access to social service agencies and other appropriate programs. Clergy are available at the Food Pantry to offer spiritual support.
