Deacons Sunday Morning Pastoral Point Persons
A rotating schedule of Deacons
serve as "Pastoral Point Persons" on Sunday mornings. They will
help the office volunteers, security, ushers and staff in
managing unexpected situations that arise between 9 am and the
conclusion of the 11 am worship service. The DPPP will work to
ensure a smoother and minimally disrupted worship time on Sunday
morning by listening to, assessing and initially responding to
concerns that might distract the pastor or the congregation from
worship time. The DPPP will be seated in the front of the east
transept in view of the front of the sanctuary and wearing
her/his Deacon name badge.
Sunday DPPP schedule through the
end of 2007 / beginning of 2008.
