DESCRIPTION:All ELPC members and friends are welcome to join us at our annual All-Church Retreat at Crestfield Camp over Pittsburgh Marathon weekend. Our theme is: We are the Church Together. Join us as we look at the Pentecost event and stories of the early church in Acts\, while we explore what it means for us to be the church today. \nPersons of all ages are invited to this intergenerational retreat\, filled with fellowship\, worship\, service\, relaxation\, and time to explore our faith together. \nRegistration forms are available in the Whitfield and Highland lobbies and can be downloaded here. \nYou can also register online.

SUMMARY:Sanctuary Worship: Canceled
DESCRIPTION:As a reminder\, our Sanctuary worship service on Sunday\, May 6\, is canceled due to the route of the Pittsburgh Marathon. \n\nThis service is held in the Sanctuary on the first floor\, with an organ prelude before the service. We extend a warm welcome to our Latino friends and include several prayers in our service bulletin in English and Spanish. This is ELPC’s largest service\, offering a traditional worship service with thought-provoking sermons\, and the music of our Chancel Choir and organ to reinforce the spirit of praise and reverence. Like many of the great cathedrals of Europe\, the compelling power and beauty of our historic\, gothic-style Sanctuary enhances the spiritual experience. Children are invited to the chancel steps to hear their own message with one of the pastors. The service is led by ELPC’s senior pastor or other members of the pastoral staff.
