If it rains\, the concert will be moved inside to the Chapel. \nA pre-concert recital\, at 2:30 pm\, will feature Hope Academy classical guitar students under the direction of Gil Teixera. \nThis is a free concert but feel free to give a donation\, if you would like.

DESCRIPTION:Throughout 2018\, ELPC’s Mission Board will be presenting a series of events\, titled Facing Systemic Racism. Discussions of racism often involve our personal experiences. What we may not realize is how racism in our social systems and institutions impacts our racial relationships. To tackle racism in our society\, we need to acknowledge the systems in our society that create institutional racism and racial privilege. \nJoin us for the second program in our series\, titled “Systemic Racism: A Historical Timeline.” We will be led by ELPC members Eddie Willson and Sherry Anderson\, who are part of the Anti-Racism Transformation Team of Pittsburgh Presbytery. \nWe will share a potluck dinner together\, beginning at 5:30 pm.
