DESCRIPTION:Are you frustrated by the issues in the world\, but don’t know how to call yourself to action? \nJoin us on Mondays in September (9\, 16\, 23\, 30)\, 6–8 pm\, as we study Just Faith Ministries’ Just Engagement: The Power to Change. This 8-week study includes grounding in scripture; reflection on past and present social movements; wisdom from community advocates; tools for successful advocacy; and resources to support you as you discern how your gifts\, skills\, and passions are best utilized to create social change. \nTwo books are required (financial assistance is available): Faith Rooted Organizing by Alexia Salvatierra & Peter Heltzel; and Live Justly by Eugene Cho. \nPlease register with Kelli Booher at KelliB@coh.net.
