DESCRIPTION:All are invited to hear Terrell Thomas speak on Monday\, October 7\, 6:30 pm. He will be on hand as a guest speaker for the Young Adult Ministry’s Just Engagement study series. \nTerrell currently serves as senior field organizer for the ACLU of Pennsylvania’s Smart Justice Campaign in Allegheny County\, and has an extensive background in organizing\, advocating and creating social change. He will share his experiences working in advocacy and organizing\, as well as his work in reducing Pennsylvania’s jail and prison population while combating racial disparities in the criminal justice system.
