DESCRIPTION:There will be no Church School classes this Sunday so that we all can enjoy our youth’s Christmas pageant\, The Pageant of “Why?” Classes will resume for people of all ages next Sunday\, December 22. \n\nThe ELPC Christian Education (CE) Committee offers Church School classes and events for all ages—from infants to adults. CE is the life-long process of learning and living in relationship to God\, our neighbors\, and ourselves. Church School classes on Sundays\, 9:45–10:45 am\, from early September through early June\, unless otherwise noted. \nThrough the study of scripture and the practice of prayer\, we begin to understand our life experiences as they relate to the life\, death\, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Come and join us! Your questions\, insights\, doubts\, and concerns are welcome. \nSee details for this week’s worship and Church School offerings here.

DESCRIPTION:Every year\, it’s the same thing: Advent\, pageant\, Christmas. But…why? Why do we do this? Why do we wait? Why is this time so important to us? Join us in the Sanctuary as we consider the reason for the season in terms of our faith and our lives. \nNotes: Dress rehearsal for all participants is on Saturday\, December 14\, 9:30–11 am\, followed by a Christmas party. If a student cannot attend rehearsal\, but will be here for the pageant\, they are most welcome! Just let your student’s Church School teacher know.

SUMMARY:Holiday Lights @ Kennywood
DESCRIPTION:Our annual light trip will be local! Kennywood decks its halls (and rides) with nearly two million twinkling lights—topped off with the tallest Christmas tree in Pennsylvania. We will enjoy holiday performances\, see spectacular light shows\, check out the activities going on\, and (some of us) will ride the rides! \nTickets will be $17–$19.
