SUMMARY:Wooster Mission Trip
DESCRIPTION:High School Mission Trip is serving with North Street Mission in Wooster\, Ohio.  8th-12th graders are going to serve breakfast every morning and volunteer with a variety of groups in the afternoon to learn what God is up to in the small town of Wooster and how our faith might be strengthened by the good work happening there!  Participants in the High School summer mission trip must attend the mission overnight April 21-22 as well as participate in 3 service projects with ELPC throughout the year.

DESCRIPTION:As part of our final formal phase of information gathering\, the Pastoral Nominating Committee is hosting a series of Listening Sessions on Sundays and weekdays in August. \nThe purpose of these sessions is to get qualitative feedback on what we most need in terms of leadership for our congregation. These sessions are serving as a complement to the information gathered from the recent survey. The hour-long service includes sung prayers\, beautiful music\, a time of silence\, spoken and silent prayers\, and opportunities for individual prayer and anointing. For more information\, view our Taizé page. \nDownload this week’s bulletin. \n\nAbout ELPC’s Taizé Prayer Service\nOur Taizé prayer service is based on a style of worship developed at the Taizé community in France founded in the 1940s by the late Brother Roger. Originally a refuge during the war\, Taizé has developed into an ecumenical prayer center for visitors from all over the world. Today\, the Taizé community is made up of over a hundred resident brothers\, both Catholics and from various Protestant backgrounds/traditions. Taizé wants to be a sign of reconciliation between divided Christians and between separated peoples.
