DESCRIPTION:Join us for an intergenerational celebration as we resume our Church School classes. Gather in the Social Hall to enjoy a continental breakfast and engage our Scripture lessons through learning stations for persons of all ages. From Bible Study to movement to a quiz show challenge\, all of our stations will be represented in our Sanctuary Worship service at 11 am. Bring a breakfast bread to share.

DESCRIPTION:FOR 9TH THROUGH 12TH GRADERS\nFood for Thought: Service Learning is a YOUTH led service team that learns about food and hunger needs and then plans and implements a service project to make our community a better place.  It’s a great way to put your faith in action\, develop leadership skills\, build a resume or college application\, meet volunteer requirements for school … and just be the awesome person you are! \nEast Liberty Presbyterian Church is committed to the academic\, social and spiritual encouragement of children and youth.  Food for Thought: Service Learning is a  leadership development program which empowers students to learn about issues of hunger and food justice and then make a difference by planning and leading group service projects.  This group mentoring program will reinforce skills known to be necessary for success in and out of school and will help students meet community service requirements for school. \nTogether students and adult coaches will … \n*share healthy and delicious meals together each week.\n*learn about issues surrounding hunger.\n*participate in creating real solutions for hunger\, health\, and sustainable agriculture.\n*partner with local and international advocacy and service organizations that are fighting hunger. \nFor more information contact Sara Hackett at 412.673.2926
