We’ll be making peanut butter dog treats for Ellie’s Pet Pantry\, a program at Humane Animal Rescue. DESCRIPTION:4th through 6th graders can join us for this single night retreat at Crestfield Camp and Conference Center with kids from Presbyterian Churches all around the city.  Crafts\, worship\, games\, campfires\, music\, silliness and thoughtful questions always fill these retreats.  You can watch highlights from last years retreat here.  We will meet at ELPC at 8am on Saturday morning and return Sunday at noon.  Cost of the retreat is $85 and scholarship money is available.  Parents interested in joining the fun by chaperoning should contact Sara Hackett.

SUMMARY:NO Sunday Church School
DESCRIPTION:As a reminder\, there will be no services or Church School classes at ELPC on Sunday\, May 5\, due to the route of the Pittsburgh Marathon. We hope to see you at our All-Church Retreat\, Friday–Sunday\, May 3–5\, at Lutherlyn Camp in Prospect\, Pennsylvania! Our regular schedule resumes next Sunday\, May 12. \n\nThe ELPC Christian Education (CE) Committee offers Church School classes and events for all ages—from infants to adults. CE is the life-long process of learning and living in relationship to God\, our neighbors\, and ourselves. Church School classes meet on Sundays\, 9:45–10:45 am\, from early September through early June\, unless otherwise noted. \nThrough the study of scripture and the practice of prayer\, we begin to understand our life experiences as they relate to the life\, death\, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. DESCRIPTION:Youth in grades 1–12 are welcome to attend an evening of fellowship\, study\, and worship. Programming includes homework help\, open gym\, educational workshops\, dinner\, and Bible study each week. \nParticipation requires a completed 2024–2025 Enrollment Form. \nSCHEDULE:\n3:30 pm: Gathering time\, homework help\, and open gym\n4:30 pm: Opening worship and welcome\n5:00 pm: Dinner\n5:30 pm: Bible study\, gym\, and crafts\n7:30 pm: Dismissal \nWeather reminder\nClub One Sixteen follows the City of Pittsburgh school closings\, so if Pittsburgh schools are closed due to inclement weather\, Club 116 also will be closed.
