DESCRIPTION:A  live\, interactive performance\, based on A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare\, followed by dinner and activities\, for young children (ages five and under) and their families. The event is short enough to hold the interest of toddlers\, yet engaging enough for their older brothers and sisters. Food will be served and fun will be had! \nSpace is limited\, and we do fill for each event\,  so please reserve your FREE tickets by  completing this online BUZZWORD RSVP form. \nThis Buzzword Perform & Play is ed by Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. \nBuzzword Pittsburgh was created to excite children and families as they discover the words that are all around them. Through talk and play about math\, science\, and art\, families will expand their young children’s vocabulary and conversation skills. The program will engage families and community organizations in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood and the greater community. \n \nThe Buzzword Pittsburgh collaborative consists of six partner organizations with expertise in the arts and sciences. They will provide interactive learning opportunities that will encourage imagination\, investigation\, creation\, and reflection. This initiative is supported by PNC Grow Up Great. \nBuzzword Pittsburgh‘s Perform & Play series is presented in partnership with Hope Academy of Music and the Arts and East Liberty Presbyterian Church. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Are you helping an older loved one with tasks like grocery shopping\, managing medications\, bathing/dressing or getting around? If so\, you are a family caregiver! Care coaches from the United Way’s Caregivers First Initiative will offer a guide to finding community resources\, getting started with problem-solving\, and managing the stress of trying to help a loved one. We’ll especially focus on ways to keep calm in difficult circumstances and to help yourself relax throughout the day. \nWe’ll meet in Room 234. Light refreshments will be served.
