DESCRIPTION:The Facing Systemic Racism (FSR) Committee and the Faith Formation Board are co-sponsoring a book launch of Beverly Harris-Schenz‘s new book\, Living While Black: My Experience with Everyday Racism on Sunday\, January 28\, 1:30–3:30 pm\, in the Social Hall. \nBeverly is a member of the congregation and active in the FSR Committee. She will present an ”interactive reading” in which she will read personal stories from her book and engage the audience in a discussion of the issues presented. \nAll congregational members\, their children\, friends\, and the general public are warmly invited.
