DESCRIPTION:ELPC’s Mission Board invites you to attend the 2016 Summer Film Series. This week\, our film will be The Canary Effect (65 minutes)\, hosted by the Justice Committee. \nAn acclaimed documentary\, The Canary Effect\, is a 2010 work directed by Robin Davey and Yellow Thunder Woman\, which seeks to expose the often misunderstood and frequently overlooked historic realities of the American Indian. This experience may cause feelings of outrage\, heartache\, sympathy\, and any number of other emotions\, and challenge you to see American history in a new light. You also may want to assess the role the U.S. Government has played in the challenges and continues to do so today.
