DESCRIPTION:Homelessness and affordable housing are discussions that draw much attention and outrage in the East End\, as well as in the City of Pittsburgh as a whole—and rightfully so. We are called to care for the most vulnerable among us\, those who are without the necessities that so many of us have. \nPlease join the Mission Board and Mission Committees as we learn about homelessness in our community\, the new referral process for shelter assistance by Allegheny County\, and the national move to the “Housing First” model. \nOur guests will include Abigail Horn from the Allegheny County Department of Human Service.
