SUMMARY:Chancel Choir Practice
DESCRIPTION:The Chancel Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7–8:30 pm in the Sanctuary and provides musical leadership at the 11 am Sunday Sanctuary worship service. No audition is required\, just the desire to learn and have fun as we prepare to lead worship. The choir is open to everyone high school age and older. SUMMARY:Meet the Music Teaching Artists Open House
DESCRIPTION:Meet the music teachers at Hope Academy of Music and the Arts to find out more about private voice and instrument lessons for your child. You may also register and schedule your lessons. \nChildren love music and movement; it’s natural – almost instinctual – for them to sing\, clap\, make rhythms\, and move. But how early should they get started in more formal classes and lessons? What instrument should they play? How do you know if they are ready? How long of a lesson should they take and often should they practice? To help answer these questions\, teaching artists from Hope Academy of Music and the Arts will be available to meet your child and let them listen to and touch various instruments. DESCRIPTION:The Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Guild of Organists will hold its opening service of the 2015-2016 season in the sanctuary at ELPC on Monday\, September 28\, at 8:00 PM.  The service will feature the ELPC Chancel Choir and the Rev. Dr. Randy Bush will deliver the sermon. The service will conclude with the installation of officers\, where ELPC’s own Dr. Ed Moore will be installed as Dean of the Pittsburgh Chapter.  All are welcome to this festive service!
