DESCRIPTION:The ELPC Chancel Choir will present Gabriel Fauré’s serene and uplifting Requiem\, accompanied by strings\, horns\, harp\, and organ in the Sanctuary. The seven parts of Requiem include some of the most beautiful melodies Fauré ever composed\, including the sublime Pie Jesu for soprano solo. \nThe concert is free\, but a freewill offering will be received. Now in its ninth year\, the series celebrates an eclectic mix of vocal and instrumental performances in the grandeur of ELPC\, which was designed by renowned architect Ralph Adams Cram.
