SUMMARY:Mission Board Film Series: The Human Element
DESCRIPTION:The Environmental Team of the Justice Committee will host a screening of and discussion on the film\, The Human Element\, following worship on Sunday\, August 6\, in the Social Hall. A light lunch will be provided. \nIn the film\, National Geographic photographer James Balog takes us through a journey of the “four elements”—water\, air\, fire\, and earth—to see how we’ve modified the natural world around us\, and in turn\, how we’re making life for ourselves harder in the process. The Human Element features subjects who are often overlooked victims of climate change. He argues that humans are not apart from nature.
