We will be seeking how to interact with and learn from other traditions while concurrently respecting them and honoring our own beliefs. Each event will include time to explore but also time to reflect as a group. \nPlan: A full complement of programs will be offered while allowing for a balance of structure and choice to the schedule. Young adults are invited to express interest in a selection of summer programs by RSVPing via Facebook (or via Wil if not on Facebook). \nIndividuals will carpool or\, if need or noted\, group transportation will be supplied from the church. Otherwise\, individuals will meet at each location noted. At the end of gathering there will be a time to debrief and pray together.

It features the heart-breaking stories of those affected by gun violence and exposes how gun companies\, the NRA\, and their political beneficiaries block legislation that could prevent thousands of deaths and injuries\, in order to maintain billions of dollars in profits. The film is a rally cry for us to come together and push for common-sense gun regulation and a safer America.

We will deeply engage in sacred texts from the Hebrew Bible and other sources\, connect energetically with one another\, and gain wisdom from ancient traditions. DESCRIPTION:The ELPC Mission Board has entered into a collaborative interfaith relationship of learning and friendship with the members of the local Muslim community. Many of the gatherings have been offered at the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh (ICP)\, where people of all faiths have been greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine desire to get to know and support one another. \nNow\, we have an opportunity to return the same radical hospitality that we have received from our sisters and brothers at ICP. We will be seeking how to interact with and learn from other traditions while concurrently respecting them and honoring our own beliefs.  Each event will include time to explore but also time to reflect as a group. \nPlan:  A full complement of programs will be offered while allowing for a balance of structure and choice to the schedule.  Young adults are invited to express interest in a selection of summer programs by RSVPing via Facebook (or via Wil if not on Facebook).   \nIndividuals will carpool or\, if need or noted\, group transportation will be supplied from the church.  Otherwise\, individuals will meet at each location noted.  At the end of gathering there will be a time to debrief and pray together.
