We will return to our normal schedule next Thursday at 7 pm. \n\nJoin us and Susan Spangler as we learn more about Mindfulness Meditation and engage in this ancient prayer form together. We begin with Qi Gong and move into meditation instruction\, guided meditations\, and practices for supporting mindfulness in everyday life. \nMindfulness is the moment-to-moment awareness of our experience with an accepting\, non-judgmental\, kind attention. In this ongoing practice\, we’ll explore and deepen our experience of mindfulness. Our weekly time together will include meditation instruction\, guided meditations\, and practices for supporting mindfulness in everyday life. \nBoth those who are new to meditation and those with meditation experience are heartily welcome.

DESCRIPTION:All people are invited to enjoy our annual Christmas pageant\, as the children and middle school youth of ELPC reenact the story of the birth of Jesus\, the Prince of Peace. \nMay we all be inspired by this familiar story to share the peace of Christ with others\, and be peacemakers in our world. \nThis year’s pageant will be authored by Ashley Birt. There will be a rehearsal on Sat.\, Dec. 9\, 9:30 am\, followed by a brief Christmas party for participants. All children and youth in grade 8 and under are invited to participate. Youth in grades 6–8 are asked to attend Church School on Sun.\, Dec. 3\, or let Sara Hackett know that you will be participating\, so that a speaking part can be set aside for you.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PBT) dance classes\, Musical Theater Workshop\, Tap and Music Discovery are all “open for observation” on Saturday\, March 19. Families\, friends and students who might be interested in joining us are invited to come and watch – and maybe get in on the action. This is our final day of Saturday classes for the fall term\, and the last to to register and pay to reserve your spot for the winter term. We will open up spots to new students on the wait list on December 18. \nPlease consider parking in metered neighborhood parking lots to avoid having to leave sessions to add money to parking meters.
