How will you share it to let your voice be heard and inspire others? \nThere will also be an be a community conversation at 10:15 am\, led by Bekezela Mguni\, about what it means to raise children with anti-racist values. D.S. Kinsel will read selections from our Art of Justice Library at 9:30 and 11:45 am \nAbout the Artist: D.S. Kinsel\nD.S. Kinsel is an award-winning creative entrepreneur and cultural agitator. He expresses his creativity through the mediums of painting\, window display\, installation\, curating\, action-painting\, non-traditional performance and #HASHTAGS. Kinsel. has served as artist-in-residence at Most Wanted Fine Art\, Artist Image Resource\, The Homewood Residency Program\, Kelly Strayhorn Theater/PPS Summer Dreamers Academy\, Carnegie Mellon University Digital Arts Studio\, AS220 and the Sedona Summer Artist Colony. D.S. is the co-founder Of Boom Concepts\, A Creative Hub dedicated to the advancement of black and brown artists representing marginalized communities. \nAbout The Art of Justice!\nLearn how artists are using art for social change and how their literary inspirations have guided their creative practice: make work alongside them to express yourself and share your vision for a just and equitable world. #artofjustice #remakelearning \nThree artists\, Alisha Wormsley\, Max Gonzales and Darrell Kinsel will work with us on artmaking projects connected to literature\, based on social justice themes. These will be suitable for all ages. Families are invited to come early\, before classes\, or to stay after classes to talk\, read and make things together. \nThis series is curated by Bekezela Mguni\, of the Black Unicorn Library and Archives Project\, and funded by Remake Learning‘s The Great Remake.
