DESCRIPTION:HAT Co ensemble members are invited to see Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre’s “Macbeth” (the focus of our Shakespeare studies last year). Check out PICT’s website for short\, informative video clips by director\, Alan Stanford\, about the play. \n“Something wicked this way comes\,” says one witch as Macbeth approaches. As Macbeth’s ambition grows\, fueled by the prophecies of the three witches\, he and his Lady begin a campaign of devastation and death to secure the throne of Scotland. How far will they go to satisfy the blossoming wickedness in their hearts? Shakespeare’s shortest tragedy will leave you breathless. If you enjoy Game of Thrones\, Macbeth will thrill you. \nThe play runs 2 hrs\, with a 15 minute intermission. There is a talk-back discussion and Q&A session after that you should all stay for. \nThanks to Tickets for Kids and Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre for giving us this great opportunity to see “Macbeth.”
