But while the phrase is still sadly apt today\, few seem to be able to explain why poverty is so widespread. Presented by the Poverty Committee\, The End of Poverty (106 minutes) is a phenomenal discourse on why poverty exists when there is so much wealth in the world. A must-see for anyone wanting to understand\, not only the U.S. economic system\, but the foundations of today’s global economy.

The film\, commissioned by the Evangelical Immigration Table\, was produced by Emmy award-winning producer Linda Midgett.
