He is recognized as one of America’s premier concert organists and enjoys a versatile career as organist\, teacher\, recording artist\, adjudicator and pianist/chamber musician. His concert performances throughout North America\, South America\, Europe and Russia have all been received with enthusiastic praise for his quality programming\, colorful use of the organ and interpretive integrity. \nA champion of American composers\, Alan Morrison has premiered important new works by William Bolcom\, Rachel Laurin\, Dan Locklair\, Emily Maxson-Porter\, Mary Beth Bennett\, Eric Sessler\, Kyle Smith\, Jon Spong\, Brent Weaver\, as well as the American premier of Dances for Organ and Orchestra by Bob Chilcott. \nELPC members can contact Dr. Ed Moore for tickets.

Featured on the program will be the premiere of a new composition for wind ensemble and organ by Pittsburgh composer Nancy Galbraith. \nThe performance is free and open to the public. DESCRIPTION:ELPC’s Cathedral Concerts series will present I Go On Singing: Paul Robeson’s Life in Word and Song by Anthony Brown\, baritone\, on Sunday\, March 5\, 3 pm. \nI Go On Singing tells Paul Robeson’s story in his own words\, using many first-hand accounts from his autobiography\, Here I Stand. The multi-media musical documentary traces his humble beginnings as a preacher’s son in Princeton\, New Jersey\, to his international celebrity as an advocate for peace and justice. \nThe performance will bring music and history alive with equal parts documentary and live concert experience. Musical numbers range from spirituals to Broadway\, and include Robeson’s original arrangements of favorites like “Wade in the Water\,” “Ol’ Man River\,” “It Ain’t Necessarily So\,” “Water Boy\,” and many others. \nThe concert is free\, but a freewill offering will be received. DESCRIPTION:The Chancel Choir rehearses in the Sanctuary on Thursdays\, 7–8:30 pm\, from September through early June (unless noted otherwise). Sunday morning rehearsals are at 10 am\, in preparation for the worship service. The choir provides musical leadership at our Sanctuary worship service on Sundays. \nNo audition is required\, just the desire to learn and have fun as we prepare to lead worship. The choir is open to everyone in high school and older. \nDr. Ed Moore is the director of the Chancel Choir. \nCome join us and make a joyful noise!

No yoga experience is necessary to enjoy the class\, which Yamuna continues to offer with joy\, light\, and her uplifting playlists and spirit. Have a strap\, scarf\, or belt handy and experience time to heal your body\, mind\, and spirit. \nCommune with the Divine through breath\, gentle stretches\, mindful music\, and guided meditation.
