Worship Services
Journey Worship | Sunday, 8:45 am
An interactive, energetic service for those seeking a fresh encounter with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our theme this month is Awakening. Pastor Randy will preach from John 20:19–29.
Sanctuary Worship | Sunday, 11 am
Our largest service, with music from the Chancel Choir and an organ prelude prior to the service. Pastor Randy will preach from Acts 5:27–39, and his sermon will be titled “A Change of Heart.”
If you’re out of town and/or unable to join us for worship, follow us on Facebook and stream our service.
Taizé Prayer Service | Wednesday, 7 pm
Led by the Rev. Mary Lynn Callahan, our hour-long Taizé service includes sung prayers; simple, beautiful music; a time of silence; spoken and silent prayers; and an opportunity for individual prayer and anointing. If you’re unable to participate in person, join our live stream on your computer or mobile device.

Journey With Scripture | Second Floor Library
“We must obey God rather than any human authority.”
—Acts 5:29
Join us as we ponder Christ’s death and resurrection in different ways. To confess “Jesus is Lord” presupposes Caesar isn’t. To confess “Christ is Risen” presupposes a bodily resurrection. These are deep political confessions—they contend with human authorities who lay claim over the body. Such confessions are also deeply personal—they contend with the authority of oneself over one’s own body. Both initiate justice and judgment.
Join us for this week’s readings: Acts 5:27–32; Psalm 118: 14–29; Revelation 1:4–8; and John 20:19–31.

Above and Beyond Expectation of Design and Sewing Program at East End Cooperative Ministry
ELPC member Hannah Moon, program manager of the Sew Forward work therapy program at EECM, will tell us about her experiences with the program and how it is helping people who are underserved and underrepresented in the community. She teaches highly valued design skills to individuals at EECM, and is working on refining Sew Forward to be a state-approved, robust program, enabling them to serve even more people.
