What the Mission Board Does
ELPC’s Mission Board is broadly engaged across our local and global communities. This page lists many of our projects.
The Rev. Patrice Fowler-Searcy, ELPC’s associate pastor for mission ministries, oversees the day-to-day operations of the Mission Board and three committees of dedicated members of the congregation who volunteer their time and energy. Please prayerfully consider becoming involved in or financially supporting these ministries.
For more information about ELPC’s mission ministries, contact the Rev. Patrice Fowler-Searcy at PatriceFS@coh.net or 412.441.3800 x230; or Gloria Knopp at GloriaK@coh.net or 412.441.3800 x222.

Mission Responsibility Through Investment
ELPC has a church endowment that is invested prudently and from which resources become available to support our wide-ranging ministries. These investments follow the guidelines set forth by our denomination, Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), through the work of the Mission Responsibility Through Investment (MRTI) program.
Click here to review the most recent list of MRTI guidelines, which may be of use as you make personal investment decisions. For more information, visit PresbyterianMission.org.
Unbound
Unbound: An Interactive Journal of Christian Social Justice is an online journal and community that examines, expresses, and provokes social justice as inspired by the prophetic gospel of Jesus Christ. As both a journal and a forum for conversation, action, and community building, Unbound is at once the inheritor of the print journal Church & Society (98 years running) and the innovator of an interactive approach to support social ministry.
