Support for Immigrants and Refugees

The ELPC Justice Committee recommends two local organizations that are doing important work to support immigrants and refugees.
THRIVE is a community of people who desire to practice hospitality by connecting newly arrived immigrants and refugees via e-crowdsourcing with neighbors in the Pittsburgh community. Learn more by visiting their website, https://www.thrivepittsburgh.org/, or contacting them at thrive7801@gmail.com or 412-366-2662.
Hello Neighbor works to improve the lives of recently resettled refugee and immigrant families by matching them with dedicated neighbors to guide and support them in their new lives. They are in need of volunteers and have trainings coming up for those who would like to help. Visit their website at https://www.helloneighbor.io/, or contact them via email at info@helloneighbor.io or by phone at 412-567-3946.
