Worship Services
Journey Worship | Sunday, 8:45 am
An interactive, energetic service for those seeking a fresh encounter with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our theme this month is Mirror Images. Pastor Heather will preach from Mark 14:66–72.
Sanctuary Worship | Sunday, 11 am
Our largest service, with music from the Chancel Choir and an organ prelude prior to the service. Pastor Randy will preach from Jeremiah 18:1–11, and his sermon will be titled “God’s Artistic Side.”
If you’re out of town and/or unable to attend worship, join us in spirit. Subscribe to our YouTube channel or follow us on Facebook and stream our service.
Taizé Prayer Service | Wednesday, 7 pm
Led by the Rev. Mary Lynn Callahan, our hour-long Taizé service includes sung prayers; simple, beautiful music; a time of silence; spoken and silent prayers; and an opportunity for individual prayer and anointing. If you’re unable to participate in person, join our live stream on your computer or mobile device.

Journey With Scripture | Highland Room
September readings explore the book of the prophet Jeremiah, who proclaims a different message from the prevailing ideology and political powers in Israel. This gets him imprisoned! We will read the whole letter of Philemon—the apostle Paul’s shortest letter (from prison), with its controversial subject of slavery. 1 Timothy is the first of two Pastoral letters that reflect a developing, perhaps more orthodox, church setting. Finally, Jesus tells unique, life giving parables that are found only in Luke’s gospel. Come join the journey of reading and reflecting on scripture.
Join us for this week’s readings: Jeremiah 18:1–11; Psalm 139:1–6, 13–18; Philemon 1:1–21; and Luke 14: 25–33.
