Ash Wednesday | Walk-Through Anointing with Ashes

Ash Wednesday, February 17, marks the beginning of our Lenten practice. It is a time when we reflect on not only our own mortality and sinfulness, but also on our need for a Savior.
Taizé instrumentalists will perform, as ELPC congregation members once more have a chance to walk through our Sanctuary. Stations will be set up for you to complete a short prayer walk, ending with the imposition of ashes.
Attendees are asked to line up along the Penn Avenue sidewalk. All participants must be masked and practice social distancing.
