Cathedral Concerts | Sweet Jazz

The ninth season of ELPC’s Cathedral Concerts series continues with Pittsburgh saxophone legend Mike Tomaro and his combo performing jazz favorites. Joining Mike will be Max Leake on piano, Paul Thompson on bass, and Tom Wendt on drums. The concert will feature a “Sweet Jazz” theme, and the audience is encouraged to bring treats to share!
Tomaro—an accomplished composer, arranger, and educator—currently serves as director of the Jazz Studies program at the Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University.

ELPC is pleased to announce a series of seven diverse concerts are slated for its 2019–2020 Cathedral Concerts season. Now in its ninth year, the series celebrates an eclectic mix of vocal and instrumental performances in the grandeur of ELPC, which was designed by renowned architect Ralph Adams Cram. Concerts are free, unless otherwise noted. A freewill offering is accepted.
