FREEHope Academy students and teaching artists are performing at a “Banned Books Week” event, co-sponsored by the ACLU, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and 90.5 WESA. This free event will feature Pittsburgh personalities and performers reading (and in Hope Academy’s case, performing songs) from their favorite banned or challenged works.
