Confronting Confederate Symbols

In many U.S. cities and communities, people have come together to demand the dismantling of Confederate symbols. Some say these symbols celebrate heritage and history. For others, they are negative reminders of “America’s Original Sin.” Join us as the Peace Committee and other members discuss the Confederate symbol in our midst, disclose the history behind its inclusion in our church’s design, and suggest ways we can address its removal (or not).
