Just Mercy Book Discussion
February 6, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
The Justice Committee invites you to a book study/discussion of Bryan Stevenson’s Just Mercy. Stevenson is a Harvard-educated activist lawyer seeking justice for wrongly convicted prisoners on death row. This book tells the stories of these men and their families, and makes a compelling case for mercy. Books can be obtained from public libraries, Amazon, or local bookstores.
All are welcome to attend, even if you didn’t read the book. We will share insights gained from Bryan Stevenson’s lecture as well as updates from Pennsylvania Alternatives to the Death Penalty. RSVP would be appreciated. Please call Vivienne Selia at 412-334-4148.
