Reparations: A Conversation with Bethel AME

Join Bethel AME Church from the Hill District in the ELPC Social Hall following Sanctuary worship on Sunday, March 12, to hear about Bethel’s ongoing journey toward restitution for the theft of their land and wealth.
Following a presentation by Bethel and partner churches, we will discuss the theological and ethical call to reparations, drawing from the book Reparations: A Christian Call for Repentance and Repair by Duke L. Kwon and Gregory Thompson.
A light lunch will be served, and the conversation will begin at 1 pm.
