The Spiritual Life Committee invites you to a weekend Silent Retreat, Friday, October 11, 6 pm, until Sunday, October 13, 12 pm, at The Ark and the Dove Retreat Center on Babcock Blvd. in the North Hills (formerly Providence Villa and Cardinal Wright Center).
We will gather for conversation and dinner on Friday, followed by Compline when we will enter silence. Silence will be broken during worship on Sunday morning, followed by conversation over brunch before we depart. Included with the retreat is the opportunity to meet with the Rev. Mary Lynn Callahan as spiritual director.
If you have never made a silent retreat before, this is an excellent place to begin—just enough silence without being overwhelming.
The cost is $120, which includes accommodations for two nights, dinner Friday evening, three meals on Saturday, and brunch on Sunday, as well as the opportunity to meet with a spiritual director. Scholarship assistance is available. Click here for a registration form or pick one up at ELPC.
