Find your groove and hone your chops in this collaborative ensemble that allows young wind players to perform exciting material from jazz, classical, and even funk musical traditions. Students will learn how to blend harmonies, hold bass lines, take lead solos and improvise in the blues-jazz language. Learning how to develop trust and have fun with each other is a class goal as important as the musical skills developed.
Wednesdays from 6:15 to 7:00 pm – April 11 to May 9
Tuition is $40 + $10 registration fee (FREE for students taking private lessons with Ben Barson)
