Hip Hop Orchestra Summer Music Camp
Monday–Saturday, July 23–28 | 9 am–3 pm
For aspiring musician of all ability levels from 9 to 17 years old.
Learn to play an instrument, sing, rap, create music and perform. Instruments: violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, guitar, bass, marimba, percussion and more. Suzuki Camp for Hope Academy Students at Winchester Thurston School
Greater Pittsburgh Suzuki Institute 2018

Hope Academy Suzuki students (violin, cello and piano) are invited to attend a special program at the Greater Pittsburgh Suzuki Institute 2018 at the Winchester Thurston School (555 Morewood Ave, Pittsburgh PA 15213) from Sunday afternoon, August 5 through Friday, August 10, 2018.
An orientation and play-on will take place for all students on SUN August 5 from 4–6 pm. Hope Academy students will take a Suzuki group class and a Dalcroze Eurythmics class during the week, Monday thru Friday, from 10 am–12 pm. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children and urged to take advantage of the Parent Education sessions at noon each day. There will be two additional play-ins during the week and a final concert on Friday at 4 pm.
Please note that the Suzuki Institute is only appropriate for students who are using the Suzuki method and can play the repertoire in their current and previous books well. The cost for this program is $50.00 for the week, and it is non-refundable.
