Hope Academy offers private lessons and group classes, Hip Hop Orchestra ensembles and a Suzuki Music program for violin, viola, cello, guitar and voice for children and youth ages 3–18.

PRIVATE LESSONS AND SUZUKI GROUPS
Private lesson studios for violin, viola and cello have limited openings for new students.
Scholarships are available for students from low-income families and/or those of Black, African American or Indigenous descent. Complete a scholarship application for consideration.
Tuition-paying students should complete an Inquiry for Private Lessons form. You will be contacted if a teaching artist is available.
HIP HOP ORCHESTRA
- Hip Hop Orchestra (HHO) is a creative ensemble/band of young people (10–18 years old) that comes together weekly to create, collaborate, produce, and perform the music of their own time and place. Instrumentalists, vocalists, and MCs – along with young adult mentors and professional teaching artists – combine acoustic instrumentation and vocals with digital music technology to produce the unique Hip Hop Orchestra sound. Hip Hop Orchestra meets on Saturday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 am. If you are interested in being part of Hip Hop Orchestra, apply here.
- Hip Hop Orchestra (HHO) Vocal Ensemble is combining with Shana Simmons Dance to offer FREE Sing & Dance classes on Wednesdays after school. Sing & Dance 1 for grades 1-3 meets from 5:30 to 6:15pm. Sing & Dance 2 for grades 4-6, meets from 6:15 to 7:00 pm.
