For many years, small teams from ELPC have served meals to the residents at East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM). There are breakfast teams that serve on Sunday mornings, and dinner teams that serve during the week.
We would like to invite anyone interested to be part of a meal team. Presently, our focus is on breakfast. We currently have teams for the fourth and fifth Sunday of the month, and we would love to expand our teams to cover the remaining Sundays. If you became part of a team, you would likely serve once a month, 6:30–8 am, (and be ready to attend our Journey service!). Of course, you may serve more frequently if you’d like. The effort is not excessive because you are part of a team. The camaraderie among the servers—along with the joy of providing to those who are in need—is truly heartwarming.
