ELPC member Tim VanFleet will be traveling to Guatemala with a group of medical doctors, nurses, and support people to hold medical clinics at multiple sites in the indigenous areas of the country. Tim will be taking with him hand-made toys that were crafted by the ELPC Toymakers Group. The toys will occupy children while they wait for care. Some of the toys will be left at each site.
As an emergency room doctor, Tim personally has planned, staffed and led more than 30 such trips to Central America and Haiti. He is pleased to carry toys from his own church on this journey.
The ELPC Toymakers Group hopes the toys exhibit love and concern for children in other parts of the world.
