Journey Worship | Sunday, 8:45 am

An interactive, energetic service for those seeking a fresh encounter with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our theme this month is Rejoice Again. Samantha Coggins (Lowery) will preach from Amos 6:1–7. We also will celebrate the Lord’s Supper.

Sanctuary Worship | Sunday, 11 am

Our largest service, with music from the Chancel Choir and an organ prelude prior to the service. Pastor Randy will preach from Luke 23:33–46, and his sermon will be titled “Words of Hope from the Cross.” We also will celebrate the Lord’s Supper.

Thanksgiving Food Drive Supports the EECM Food Pantry

As a part of our Stewardship season each year, ELPC partners with the East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) Food Pantry to provide food for our most vulnerable neighbors. The ELPC Mission Board is encouraging every family to purchase some of the items on the shopping list (listed below) and bring the bagged food items (no glass containers) to worship with you on Stewardship Sunday, November 10.  Read More

Pastoral Message: November 2019

Back in 2012, I was blessed to receive a Lilly Foundation grant that helped underwrite a sabbatical for myself and my family. Charlotte and Ian were in middle school, and we took three months to go live in Auckland, New Zealand. It was a positive, transformative sabbatical for me and for our family. In addition, ELPC recognized that between our very skilled staff and dedicated volunteers, the ministry of our church could thrive without my presence.
